Cathy Aguilar is a CHSWC commissioner and workers’ compensation manager for the San Francisco Unified School District and currently serves as a Director on the Golden Gate Chapter of RIMS. Cathy has worked in the workers’ compensation claims profession for over 25 years including a term as Vice President of a National TPA, and on the employer’s side doing claims and program management for Costco, the San Diego County office of Education JPA and currently for the San Francisco Unified School District. Cathy participated in groups working on the workers’ compensation reforms in the late 80’s, and again in the 2003/2004 reforms. Dr. Randall Smith is an expert in neuropsychological and psychological issues in workers’ compensation cases, specializing in psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stress, chronic pain, and substance abuse, as well as neuropsychological disorders including closed head trauma, concussion, hypoxia, IQ and cognitive deficit, and memory loss.
